This Woman Had a Sex Toy In Her Vagina For 10 Years

When a 38-year-old Scottish woman went to the doctor with concerns about dramatic weight loss, they found a sex toy in her vagina that had been in there for 10 years, according to the Toronto Sun. Apparently, after she put it in there, she completely forgot about it.

According to her case study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, the woman complained about having urinary issues and sepsis-like symptoms. Because the toy had been inside her for so long, she was suffering from bilateral hydroureteronephrosis (when urine won’t drain from the kidney to the bladder) and vesicovagina fistula (where urine discharges into the vagina). These health problems caused extreme lethargy and weight loss. Yikes.
