This Woman Tweeted Someone Else’s Bad First Date

Have you ever have a bad date that you hoped you’d never have to relive? And as you walked away from the date, embarrassed for both you and the other person, did you think, “Well, I’m glad that’s over. I’m so relieved that nobody will ever find out!”
Well, thanks to the Internet, that moment of relief has totally dissipated. Because anyone who is sitting near you can hear you and your date’s awkward conversation… and they can decide to tweet it.
Toronto resident Anne Thériault did just that when she found herself seated next to a couple struggling through their first date.
“Watching a couple on what appears to be a terrible first coffee date at the table next to me,” Thériault tweeted. “Dude is every precious self-involved writer.”
Proceed with caution if you’re faint of heart. As the tweets go on, it becomes more and more of a dating train wreck. You won’t be able to look away…
